The Chapter Summit will be the culmination of all the conversations up to this point.  The Chapter President-Elects plus one additional delegate from each chapter will focus the conversation into specific recommendations to fulfill the chapter mission: to extend the NSA brand into the local market, consistently targeting education and community efforts to the working speaker level."

The recommendations are to position the chapters to deliver on this mission for the future, providing the best value to our local NSA members with the least amount of effort.    Some of these recommendations simply require an approval and it can be immediately implemented (just do it!).  Others may need a year or so to implement (short term) and others may take an extended amount of time to implement -somewhere between 2-4 years (Long term).

As a group, we will aim for consensus in these recommendations.  Where there is not a clear consensus, we will note the majority and minority opinions.

Immediately after the summit (simultaneous with the conference), there will be a small working group to put together the formal proposal.  This proposal wil be available to for feedback from individuals who wish to weigh in prior to presenting this to the Board of Directors in February.
